YES. AND SEE WHY:
As an Iowa resident, I believe in holding our elected officials accountable. Recently, I initiated contact with Representative Jeff Shipley to ask a simple, vital question:
Why is an elected official pushing alternative treatments like ivermectin instead of established, proven treatments like chemotherapy for cancer patients?
Instead of offering a policy explanation or deploying a rational defense of his platform, Representative Shipley's response escalated. During our call, he explicitly referred to me as a 'F*ggot R*tard'.
If a state representative cannot handle basic scrutiny regarding the medical advice he transmits to the public without resorting to hateful, discriminatory language, his signal must be jammed. He is unfit for the office he holds.
Representative Shipley's hostile conduct on the phone directly mirrors his documented record in the Iowa State Legislature. Instead of addressing real issues facing Iowans, he routinely utilizes his taxpayer-funded position to validate internet conspiracy theories and undermine established medical science.
Shipley co-sponsored legislation to criminally ban "geoengineering" and the "intentional emission of air contaminants," effectively validating internet conspiracy theories about airplane contrails. Rather than addressing actual environmental or infrastructural needs, Shipley spent legislative time arguing that the state must protect citizens from non-existent atmospheric manipulation.
We require representatives who treat their constituents with dignity and rely on verifiable data, not internet conspiracy theories and slurs. Deploy your voice.
